Before the test, students must be careful to certain points, to score the best in the exam. Before the test, students should not do in-depth study & should not refer a new book for preparation. It may end up with considerable confusion as what to study and what not to study. Moreover, they should not attempt to perform long-term problems which consist of several steps.

On the day of the exam, students must have good tenacity and endurance-not just the weather of the exam duration of six hours, but also to stand the summer heat. While solving the paper, they should give the same value for physics, chemistry and mathematics. Although, the General strategy should be to distribute the time evenly between the three subjects, it is natural for students to spend more than average time to resolve issues of their favorite subject.

In the circumstance of the changed norms for the subject cut-offs, the following must be followed:

If you have scored less in one subject in paper1, do not spend more than average time on the other subject in paper 2. You don’t want to be deprived of in the AIR (All India Rank)for the lack of achievement of the subject cut-offs.

After the cut-off is reached, your AIR is still dependent on the overall assessment enshrined in both papers.

Do not discuss the cut-off in between jobs (i.e. from 11AM to 2 PM).Do not try to guess the cut off marks also as Your preparation also gives you a general idea that what are your going to score in results after striking the exam questions.

On the day of the examination, the student must take care that in the past year as several correct answers carry negative marks. Students who did not try at all these issues for fear of attracting the penalty missed an easy scoring opportunity. So to read the instructions for each question type.

Your mind has to be completely focused on the examination paper. Don’t waste any more than 90 minutes on any one subject in any one paper. It would be unnecessary and could actually hinders your chances in relation to subject-wise cut-offs.

Finally, students should remain calm and control their nerves in the exam.

CBSE Board exam 2015: Problems of mathematics paper raised in Lok Sabha

The “very tough” Class 12 CBSE mathematics question paper, which caused many students to tear in the exam hall, figured in Parliament as a member of Congress asking the government to think seriously about taking the exam once again. Students and teachers also demanded the same.

Raising the issue during the zero hour, K. V. Thomas, member of Congress from Ernakulam in Kerala, said math test will affect the future of many students in the country.

The government should take it seriously and efforts must be made to rope in experienced and senior people when question papers are being created in the future. Many students appeared in the exam and their teachers said the question paper was of “IIT entrance level“.

Mathematics exam was very hard. The questions asked on the exam were not direct. It was beyond our level and was equivalent to IIT-JEE test,” said Somil Pahuja, who couldn’t attempted many questions. She said that the Central Board of secondary education (CBSE) should re-conduct the exam.

Vertika Mishra said that the majority of students came out of the exam hall crying. Teachers also said that the exam was very difficult in comparison with previous years of testing and that their students were very disturbed.

The CBSE spokesman said that the Council have not yet thought of conducting re-examination of Mathematics. According to students and teachers, this year, the mathematics paper was about 50 percent of the questions on the basis of the skills of higher order thinking (HOTS), compared with previous years, when he was about 10-20%.
