BSNL examination board has finally declared the result for Junior Engineer TTA 2016 examination.  Candidates who have appeared for the examination may check their results on the official website i.e.  www.bsnl.co.in.

The exam was successfully held between 25th September 2016 and 29th September 2016. This exam was held for the recruitment of interested and eligible candidates for the junior engineer post. As per the notification there was approx 2700 vacant post.

  2. After that, click on the Link “Result” Under the status column.
  3. A PDF page with the state wise category will be displayed on the screen. This page will consist of list of candidate who got selected with their marks in all the three papers.
  4. Check your marks and Save it.
  5. Candidates are also advised to take the print out of the same for future reference.

The candidates who have successfully cleared the BSNL Junior Engineer TTA 2016 exam will have to undergo the pre-appointment training procedure specified by the company policy. Applicant appointment shall be terminated if any candidate got unsuccessful in this training.

CBSE UGC NET 2017 Notification: Last Day for Registration

Central Board of secondary education (CBSE) will conduct National Eligibility test (NET) 2017 on January 22, 2017. Registration process for the same will be end today. Interested and eligible candidates have one last day to get themselves register for the examination. Last day of submission of fee has been extended up to November 24, 2016.

In order to get themselves register in proper way, candidates must have to follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Log on to the official website of CBSE UGC NET i.e. www.cbsenet.nic.in
  2. Candidates must possess their scanned signature and photograph before applying.
  3. Click on the relevant link.
  4. Fill the subject, city of examination and code in the relevant column.
  5. After that, click on submit.
  6. Candidates are advised to take the print out of the same for future reference.

If in case, any candidate needs correction in the registration form, he/she can do the correction from November 28th to 3rd December, 2016.

Candidate may download their admit card from December 21st 2016 from the official website only. No admit cards will be send via mail to any candidate. Candidate must have to bring one of their photo identities along with the print out of online admission card on the examination day. Failure of this shall not be allowed to appear for the exam.

State Steering Committee Put the Fund on Hold and not Utilising in Upgrading ITIs

As per the latest notification from Maharashtra Government, State Steering Committee (SSC) has put the  fund on hold and this fund will not be utilizing in upgrading the ITIs many institutes were found misusing the fund under the proposed  scheme.

The central government launched a programme under Public private partnership (PPP) Scheme 2007, in which is it is proposed to upgrade 1396 government ITIs throughout the nation. However ITIs are misusing the fund. Moreover, ITIs are not utilising the fund as per decided in Institute development plan (IDPs).

As per the research from Directorate of Vocational education and training (DVET), Maharashtra Government will not utilise Rs 450 crore funds which was issued by the centre for upgrading the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) under the Public private partnership (PPP) Scheme.

As per the officials state is having very limited funds for vocational education. Skilled workers are required in the industry. This PPP scheme is the project by government which aimed to increase the growth of the country and is one of the best projects.

As per the reports issued by DVET, there are 250 ITIs across the state for which INR 625 issued by the centre, out of which only 67.26 crore were spent.

IBPS PO Exam 2016 Notification: Exam Cancelled at Test Centre

The institute of Banking personnel Selection (IBPS) organised an examination by which eligible and interested candidates’ recruits for the public sector banks, SBI, Associate Banks of SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, few Co-operative banks, LIC and Insurance companies which are regular members of the IBPS society.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) successfully conducted the Probationary Officers (PO) main examination 2016 at various centres across the nation on November 20th 2016. Along with this, recently IBPS has released the results of Preliminary examination.

Many students have appeared for the exam.  At one centre exam got cancelled i.e. Model Institute of Technology test centre situated at Lucknow.  It is reported that exam got cancelled due to severe crack down. Candidates got tensed after waiting for half an hour long. There were approx 300 candidates at the test centres who reached there to appear for the exam. Later, Institute released an official notification which states that fresh examination dates will be sent to the aspirants at their registered Email ID.

As per students, the exam was tough. Exam consists of 200 questions in total which are based on reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, General awareness and computer knowledge. The exam was total of 2 hours and 20 minutes.

UPSC NDA & NA (II) Written Exam 2016: Results out, Check Now

Results for National Defence Academy ( NDA)  and Naval Academy ( NA) (II) written examination 2016 has been declared. Candidates can check their results online at official website i.e. www.upsc.gov.in

UPSC NDA & NA (II) written exam was successfully conducted on September 18. The exam was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the candidates to take the admission into army, navy and air force wings of NDA and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).

In order to check the result, candidates must have to follow the below mentioned steps:

  2. After that, click on Written result NDA & NA (II) 2016. This link will be available under “What’s new” option.
  3. A PDF file will be displayed in which roll numbers of the qualified candidates will be mentioned.

The candidates who have successfully cleared the written examination are now qualified for the next round i.e. interview round. This round will be organised by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of Ministry of Defence. For this round, candidate must have to get themselves register on the recruiting website of Indian Army i.e. www.joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks after announcement of written examination results.

Demonetisation Affects SSC Exam Registration

Demonetisation of Old currency of 500 and 1000 affects filing process of SSC Examination. The form filing process is still going on. It starts from 4th November 2016 and will get over by 21st November. Due to this scrapping of old currency, the process of registration has become slow. Students and Parents are complaining for this to the authority. Moreover, students and parents are requesting the schools to accept the Old currency. However Schools haven’t got any notification or orders in this regard.

As per the authorities of local school, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHE) must have to take the matter in their hands to avoid the confusion and chaos at the school.

A senior school official said that they are accepting the old currency to avoid the unwanted confusion and chaos which were leading to inconvenience to students and parents. In this matter no formal decision has been made yet by the state board.

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education chairman, Gangadhar Mhamane said that no intervention from the state board was needed at present because of longer window available for the filling up forms. Moreover, he stated that students may fill the form and submit the examination fee later as the form filling process will end by 21st November.

VITEEE 2017 Notification: Registration Process starts, Apply Now

Recently Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEE) 2017 released a notification regarding the registration process. As per the notification released, registration process has started from November 10th 2016.

  • Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.
  • ‘NIOS’ candidates are eligible to appear for the VITEEE-2017.

UPSC Civil Services Examination 2016 Released Admit Cards for Mains Exam, Download Now

Recently, The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification regarding the admit cards for mains examination. As per the notification released, Admit cards are out for civil services mains examination 2016. Candidates who have applied for the examination can download their admit card from the official website of UPSC. The Main Examinations are scheduled to be held on 3rd December 2016. Every year large number of candidates register themselves for this exam. This exam consists of three levels namely preliminary exam, main exam and interview. After successfully clearing of all the three levels, a candidate is eligible for the post of Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Exams are on the peak. Examination pattern:

Paper A: Candidate has to select any of the Indian Language from the languages included in the eighth schedule of the constitution. This paper will be of 300 marks.

Paper B: This will also be of 300 marks.

Papers which are to be counted as merit:

Paper I- This paper will be of 250 marks and consist of Essay type question.

Paper II: This paper is from General Studies section and consists topics like Indian Heritage and culture, history and geography of the world and society. This paper is of 250 marks.

Total marks for written exam would be1750 and personality test would be 275 marks.

SSC CGL Tier II 2016 Notification: Exam is Scheduled from November 30th to December 3rd.

As per the latest notification released, Staff selection commission has announced the exam dates for Tier II. Exam is scheduled to be held from November 30th to December 3rd, 2016. Candidates who are appearing for the exam are suggested to check the official website of SSC i.e. www.ssc.nic.in.

Large number of candidates will appear for the tier II exam.  As per the report, 14.82 lakh candidates appeared in 44 batches in 96 cities across the nation appeared for CGL Tier I Examination. However approx 1.49 lakh candidates from different categories will appear for Tier II Examination.

Also the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the results for combined graduate level examination (CGLE) Tier I examination.  Candidates are selected on the basis of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. No sectional cut offs would be there.

The admit cards for tier 2 exam are expected to be released shortly on the official website.

Some changes has been noticed this year in the exam pattern-

  • Numbers of total questions were reduced from 200 to 100.
  • Total marks will be 200.
  • Duration of exam was 75 minutes.
  • Mode of examination was computer based.
  • The commission had introduced a descriptive paper of English/Hindi as Tier 3.

With Effect from Next Year, IIT Entrance Examinations to be Held in Nepal, Said Pranab Mukherjee

President Pranab Mukerjee on Thursday announced that Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will conduct their entrance examinations in Nepal from Next year.

Announcement was done in a seminar titled ‘Nepal and India: Exploring News Vistas’ organised by India Foundation and Neeti Anusandhan Prathishthan Nepal. In the seminar, president said, both the countries, India and Nepal have enjoyed a long tradition of academic and student exchange.

Along with this, President also stated that India is happy to help Nepal with its Human resource development. India grant around 3000 scholarships to Nepalese student every year. Along with this, India provides opportunities to study in Nepal and in India. India also offers more than 250 scholarships annually for Government and non Government employees of Nepal for training in technical institutes in India.

India basically focuses on importance of water resources in the accelerated development in Nepal, for which scholarships are also offered to the post graduate student of Nepal of Hydel power courses and water resources management. Scholarships are offered at IIT Roorkee.

This type of relation will help to solve major hurdles through meetings and consultations, goodwill, strong mutual understand and open-end conversations etc.

IRMA Exam notification: Exam dates announced on the official website, Check now

Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) invites application for the admission of to Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PRM) and Fellow Program in Rural Management (FPRM).

Recently IRMA released the notification regarding the Exam dates. IRMA 2017 exams are scheduled to be held on 12th February 2017. The results for the same will be announced on March 31st 2017. The admission in IRMA exams will be done on the basis of CAT 2017/XAT 2017 scores.

  5. By this SBI Challan, Candidates have to make the payment through the challan at any branch of SBI. Bank will issue a unique ID Number tht can be used to apply online through official website.

IBPS CWE PO Notification: Prelims Results 2016 out, Check now

The institute of banking personnel has released a notification regarding the prelims results. Wait for the candidates who have appeared for the IBPS CWE PO prelims exam has been over now. Results has been declared on the official website i.e. www.ibps.in

Exam was successfully held in the month of October dated 16, 22, 23 and 27th. The candidates who have successfully cleared the prelims exam will have to appear for the mains exam which is scheduled to be held on November 20th.

NIFT Notification: Entrance exam will be held on February 12th 2017

National Institute of Fashion and technology (NIFT) released the notification regarding the entrance exam. As per the notification, the exam will be held on February 12th 2017. This exam is the gateway for various undergraduate and post graduate design courses.

According to the notification, the registration has commenced and last date to apply for the same is January 10th 2017.

This exam conducts every year to check the knowledge, skills and aptitude of the candidate in the same field.

How to apply:

Candidates who are interested will have to fill the application form which is available online on the official website of NIFT. Application fee is as follows:

For General/OBC candidates: Rs 1500/-

For PH/SC/ST candidates: Rs 750/-

Fee payment would only be done by demand draft of payment gateway.

Selection process:

  • For BFTech candidates, GAT will be the final test for selection.
  • For BDes Candidates, one more test would be there i.e. situation test. The candidates who will successfully cleared the GAT and CAT test will be called for situation test.
  • MDes candidates will take GAT and CAT. On the basis of the result, they will then be called for group discussion/personal interview

JSSC Combined Competitive Examination 2016 Notification: Application to be submitted by November 30

Jharkhand Staffs Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the notification regarding the combined competitive exam 2016. Eligible and interested candidates must have apply for the post in the prescribed format on and before November 30th 2016.

This exam will organise to recruit the interested and eligible candidates for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector and Mining Inspector.

 

Eligibility Criteria: Interested candidates must have to meet the eligibility criteria.

For Motor Vehicle Inspector, candidate must have to clear 10th class examination from any recognised board. Along with this he/she must be having diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any recognised University and Institute.

For Mining Inspector, candidate should be having diploma in Mining Engineering from any recognised university and institute.

For both the posts, total vacant seats will be 45. Out of which 14 vacant seats are for Motor Vehicle Inspector and 31 vacant seats are for Mining Inspector. Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the performance of candidates in Competitive examination 2016.

XAT- 2017 Notification out, Check Now

Xavier Aptitude test 2017 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017. The examination will conduct and organised by XLRI, Jamshedpur. This is one of the biggest national level entrance exams for management courses. The scores of XAT examination are accepted by around 140 B-Schools across the country.

The registration process has already been started. In order to get register, candidate must have to login to official website of XAT i.e. www.xatonline.net.in . Last date to apply for the exam is November 30th 2016. Candidate may apply with late application till December 11th 2016.

Admit cards:

Admit card will be available online on the official website i.e. www.xatonline.net.in. Candidate can download their admit cards from December 20th 2016.

Paper Pattern:

XAT 2017 is a paper based exam which consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 is an objective type exam having 78 questions in total however paper 2 consists of objective as well as subjective type questions. Paper one covers three sections i.e. Quantitative Ability, English language and Logical Reasoning and Decision Making. Paper two is based on General Knowledge and Essay writing Questions. Total time to complete the exam is 210 minutes.

The test would be conducted from 10 am to 1:30 pm.

Punjab PSTET Notification: Results Will be out Soon

As per the latest notification, Results for Punjab state teachers eligibility test (PSTET) will be out soon. Results will be declared on the official website i.e. www.tetpunjab.com. The test was held on 25th September, 2016. Large numbers of candidate have appeared for the exam this year.

This exam is conducted every year by the state council of education research & training (SCERT) Punjab. The candidates who will successfully cleared the exam will be placed for the respective posts.

In order to check the results, candidate must have to follow the below mentioned procedure:

  1. Log on  to the official website of PSTET i.e. www.tetpunjab.com
  2. After that, click on the link “ PSTET 2016 results”
  3. Enter the application number and Date of Birth (DOB) in the appropriate field.
  4. After that, Click on submit.
  5. The results will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Candidate can now download the results and get it print for future reference.

The department of school education, Government of Punjab has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the P STET Exam. It is the minimum qualification to get eligible for the appointment of post for teacher. This exam would bring national standard and benchmark of quality of teachers in the hiring process.

Minecraft: Education Edition, Launched by Microsoft for Schools

Microsoft finally launched Minecraft Education Edition for schools children on Tuesday. This is game software available at $ 5 per user. This game software will make learning more interesting.

This game software, Minecraft: Education Edition was previously launched in june with an early access version however the full version gets a companion app called “Classroom Mode”. This is available in 11 languages and approx 50 countries around the world. The classroom mode offers educators the ability to interact with students and manage settings from a central user interface.
