The Haryana police had unearthed a a paper-leak racket on Monday which was involved in leaking the answer keys for the CBSE AIPMT 2015 Examination. The arrested persons caught sending the answer key for all 90 questions to some aspirants just before the commencement of the exam. They also provided the candidates electronic devices so that they may solve the questions in the exam.
The Haryana police is now called upon the concerned authorities to re-conduct the exam, which is going to affect approx six lakh students. The Inspector General of the police, Shrikant Jadhav asked for the cancellation of the AIPMT as the future of genuine students will get affected badly due to the leaking of AIPMT exam paper. This is also a failure of the current exam system and re-exam will bring justice to the talented and genuine students.
The police had four members of the gang- two dental surgeons, one MBBS student and a businessman- All from Rohtak, Haryana, who leaked papers for the All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Test. The master of the scandal is still at large. The police is of the view that the paper leaking gang might have been spread to the states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan. The official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will publish the keys and cut-offs of AIPMT soon and its result is expected to come on June 5.
