The AIPMT or All India Pre-Medical Test re-test is scheduled to be held on 25th July. The candidates must have their admit cards with them by now by downloading them from their website and carry it with them to the exam hall, failing which they will not be allowed to sit for the exam. With the exam nearing, we suggest you, some wrap up preparation tips that will help you bolster the performance.
Plan your preparation: It is rightly said, “He who fails to plan, plans to fail”. Nobody does or should undermine the importance of planning prior to the execution of that task, and if it is the AIPMT re-test, not planning for the test is “forbidden in these realms”. The Study Plan that will be created for you will be just for 7 days, you will be assigned some chapters to study every day so that you are able to complete your syllabus in time.
Develop a strong base: Develop a strong base by studying the 11th and 12th class NCERT syllabus main topics. You should have a clear understanding of all the basic fundamentals in Biology, Chemistry & Physics in order to succeed.
Revision: Now that you’ve covered up the syllabus, mark the topics in their decreasing order of expected importance in the exam and prepare a list. While revising in the last few days, go according to the list starting from the most important ones followed by the less important ones. Revision reduces your chances of missing out on any important information.
Evaluation: Test series help you evaluate yourself by providing you a detailed analysis of your results so that you can figure out your mistakes and improve your performance. Since, you’re put at par with the national toppers, you get an idea on where do you stand and what more do you need to get ahead of others.
Hit the reference books: Aspirants are advised to refer to reference books apart from the study material which will expand their know-how on the subjects and help them gain a better understanding of complicated topics, given, they have ample time left in hand for revisions too.
Be positive: A positive mindset provides you the motivation to reach you goal without getting distracted. So it is very important for candidates to be in a positive state of mind. Especially those who are cursing CBSE for the re-test for they got excellent marks in the 1st test itself. They should not get swayed away by the thought that their hard work was in vain. Your hard work always pays off, remember that.
We hope the above strategies help you in achieving what you aspire for. For the exam, we recommend good books in order to excel.
