Now, the exam Mafia has started to play with the future of millions of students preparing for different competitive, entrance and recruitment examinations in India. This time, the police in Haryana have arrested four persons, as well as two dentists and MBBS student belonging to Rohtak, for passing on the answer keys to the students who were using vests with SIM card units and Bluetooth earphones for while appearing in All India pre medical test (AIPMT) on Sunday.
In addition to investigating as how 90 answer keys of this highly competitive all-India test leaked, the police are also looking into at least nine candidates who purportedly paid about RS 15-20 lakh for “help” in their quest to become doctors.
According to police, the bunch of criminals could have spread to other States, particularly in Bihar and Rajasthan. They added that the defendants claimed that they acquired “engineered vests from store in new Delhi. Of the four under arrest, the police force have acknowledged the two as BDS physicians and Sanchit Bhupender, one as a second year medical College student Ravi and fourth as Rajesh. The alleged “key player” of this racket, Roop Singh Dangi, is still at large.
Another MBBS doctor, is also under the scanner as he was acting as a “arbitrator” between the defendant and students. One of the investigators said:They had a SIM card units linked all the way through Bluetooth headphones.
Shortly after the exam began, the defendant began to send the answer keys of nine students from whom they were allegedly taken RS 15-20 crore each. The students having phones got the answer keys through whatsapp and for those who were using earpieces, they got it through phone calls.”
