The results of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Final Examination and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) on Friday, 17th July by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
This year, around 42,847 aspirants appeared for the exam and in the result, they recorded a pass percentage of 8.26%, a bit increase from the pass percentage of November 2014 exam which was 8.23%.
Rahul Aggarwal from Telangana and Shailee Chaudhary from Delhi grabbed the first rank in the Chartered Accountant Final Examination by scoring 606 marks out of a total 800 marks, i.e., 75.7%.
Deval Bhadresh Modi from Mumbai and Chitturi Lakshmi Anusha from Andhra Pradesh jointly bagged second rank with the score of 71.88%.
Candidates were required to score minimum 55% marks in order to make it up to the Chartered Accountant (CA) Merit List. Candidates were required to score minimum 60% marks in order to make it up to the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) Merit List.
The candidates can check their position and merit list using their respective roll numbers on the official website.
CA Final Examination was conducted from 2nd May till 17th May. CPT was conducted on 13th June in 2 sessions.
