Delhi University has started a job fair for undergraduate students who will complete their graduation in 2015. Approx, 5,000 students will be able to get job opportunities. The Dean Students’ Welfare, DU said that 35 students have got job themselves successfully and three companies will hire around 100 students in the first session of placement drive. The job post offered to these candidates will include academic coordinators, customer care executive, nutritionist, content writing and business development.
He also said that the average package offered to candidates is INR4.8 lakh per year. It is well known fact that DU’s Central Placement Cell (CPC) starts placement drives every year wherein students can get registered for job vacancies in companies that visit the DU campus.
