Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced exam for the academic year 2016 will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. The declaration of the JEE exam will take place soon.
Last year, the examination was conducted by IIT Delhi.
The process of finalising the events required for conducting the exam properly is still going and been take care of by the authorities.
For the admission in the Indian Institute of Technology, JEE Advanced is the second stage of the examination and is conducted by the seven zonal IITs under Joint Admission Board.
As the reports says that around the top 1.5 lakh rank holders who clears the first stage of JEE Mains are the only ones eligible for the JEE Advanced.
However, the new proposal which has been kept forward by the IITs to go back to the older system of single exam pattern is still a due decision. The outcome of it is much awaited because if the proposal gets accepted than the students will go back to one exam pattern instead of two stages to secure their seats in IITs.
