As soon as the Central Board of secondary education (CBSE) has announced jee 2015 results, the official website crashed resulting in hundreds of thousands of students guessing their results.
Additionally, all the helpline numbers were ‘out of range’, ‘not available’ or ‘off’. Also, landline phones were frequently busy.
Neither the main site – http://jeemain.nic.in nor the optional website http://cbseresults.nic.in/jee/jee_2015.htm was working. The website http://cbseresults.nic.in/jee/jee_2015.htm was live until about 04:00 pm, but the JEE Mains website was out of work at that point of time.
Many students seeking their results were frustrated with the disorder and expressed their views that “The Board of Directors should take special care that the web sites are capable of handling additional traffic on the result date.
