No Suggestion to decrease age limit for civil services exam

The Lok Sabha as informed that there is no suggestion right now before the government to lessen the higher age limit and number of attempts in civil service examination.

Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh said that currently, there is no such suggestion is under contemplation of the government. He was questioned whether the central government is planning to decrease the higher age limit and the maximum number of attempts in civil services examination. Sign also give a written reply and said many representations have been receiving the various issues relating to the scheme of civil service examination (CSE).

The central government has taken the decision that the marks of question-section on ‘English language comprehension skills’ in the Paper-II of Civil Services (Preliminary) examination, will not be included for gradation or merit in the CSE 2014.
