UPSC published CAPF (ACs) exam dates

Candidates await for CTET 2015 result

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has now announced the date for the exam for the recruitment Assistant Commandants (ACs) (Group A) for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz, Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The exam will be conducted on 12th July which was earlier to be held on 11th April this year but was later postponed till further notice because of reasons unknown. The exam will be conducted in 42 cities across the country.

Downloading the admit cards:

  • Click on the tab, ‘Examinations’
  • Click on, ‘E-Admit Card’
  • Insert the required information

The candidates are advised to take their E-Admit Card printouts as soon as possible as there have been cases in the past that candidates were unable to do so on the last day because of server overloads and crashes. Candidates are also advised to carry black ball point pens only for the examination.

Exam pattern:

The exam will consist of two papers

  • Paper 1 – Will consist of of objective type questions based on general ability and intelligence worth 250 marks in total.
  • Paper 2 – Will consist of conventional questions such as precis writing, essays and comprehensions worth 150 marks in total.
