AIIMS is a group of colleges aimed at giving students courses in medical fields. These courses prove to be quintessential for the future of the students. The prestige of the colleges in itself is reason enough to take a chance at these exams.
There are a few important dates to know for AIIMS 2019 –
- AIIMS MBBS Basic Registration – 30th Nov, 2018 – Jan 14th, 2019
- Final status on application – 25th Jan, 2019
- Generation of code for final registration – 29th Jan – 17th Feb
- Final Registration – 21st Feb – 12th March
- Admit Card Release – 15th May
- AIIMS 2019 Exam – 25th and 26th May, 2019
Syllabus for AIIMS 2019 – The AIIMS exam is dissected into four major subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. There is an additional logical thinking and aptitude section too.

AIIMS 2019 would have syllabus comprising of class 11th and class 12th topics for each subject. These may seem easy but taken together are a big task for the students. The topics are –
Physics – Magnetic effect of current, Electromagnetic Induction & Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Waves, Atoms & Nuclei, thermodynamics, Gravitation
Chemistry – Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, States of Matter, and other topics from class 11th and 12th chemistry
Biology – Biology will also follow the same exam syllabus with topics like plant physiology, human physiology.

AIIMS 2019 Exam Pattern
With the marks and questions dissection given below it is also important to know a few other things.
AIIMS entrance exam will be held in online mode (computer-based test). The exam being held in two shifts would last for 3.5 hours each shift. With 200 questions (as given below) the students would not find it difficult given the ample time they have.
NOTE – AIIMS has 1/3rd negative marking for each incorrect answer.
