Government run schools in Delhi will now have entrepreneurship curriculum for students. The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has commented this on a discussion panel on “Living Mindfully: Initiatives and Learnings” at New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM). This initiative will make the students from class IX to XII ready for future. This entrepreneurship curriculum is aimed to develop life skills, behavioral skills, and also to teach proper etiquettes to children to make them ready for future.
The Delhi government has also decided to develop a cleanliness curriculum to inculcate the habit of hygiene among school children. The cleanliness curriculum is supposed to be based on activities rather than books. There will not be any separate period to teach cleanliness to students.
Added to these the government schools will also introduce remedial classes for subjects in which students are facing problems. These classes are meant for children appearing for boards from December 28, 2018.
