JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCED both are national level exam for entrance in top engineering colleges and universities. The syllabus of both the exams is from the senior secondary 11th and 12th class. However, students who clear JEE MAIN are the ones who are eligible to apply for JEE ADVANCED. Top universities like IIT Bombay, IIT Chennai, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee are some of the most important universities who accept top students who pass JEE ADVANCED exam.
The JEE ADVANCED exam dates for Paper 1 and Paper 2 have already been announced and is scheduled for May 9, 2019.
Check carefully the eligibility criteria of JEE ADVANCED 2019:
- The birth date of applicant should be on or after 1 October, 1994. For SC, ST and Pwd applicants there is 5 years relaxation given.
- Only 2 consecutive years are allotted to each applicant to take JEE ADVANCED exams
- Students who have scored atleast 75% marks in 12th class and SC, ST, Pwd who have scored atleast 65% marks in 12th class are eligible.
- Only first time entrants to IIT are accepted for JEE ADVANCED exam. Any student whose application was cancelled will not eligible.
The JEE ADVANCED 2019 exam will be conducted online with all registration details and fee to be paid online.
