The JIPMER MBBS 2019 exam preparation has already begun with an estimate of 1.5 lakh student participation. JIPMER or Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research is a completely online medical entrance exam that has a national reach. JIPMER exam is one of the toughest exams to pass and therefore students should check all details subject-wise that will be included in the syllabus. The entrance exam of JIPMER has questions from the CBSE 11th and 12th class and State Board Higher Secondary. Biology, Physics, Chemistry are the main subjects that has each 60 questions. English language & comprehension as well as logical & quantitative reasoning each will have 10 questions.

JIPMER exam is a completely online test with registrations, prospectus, syllabus, exam details, application forms, submission of fee – everything is available and conducted online.  All the details of applicants have to be filled correctly and submitted before the last date.

  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • The venue, time and shift (morning or afternoon) is given to the applicants with the Hall Ticket.
  • The exam is conducted in English language only.
  • The total 200 questions are in MCQ format.
  • The questions are from the subjects –
    • BIOLOGY – 60 questions/ 240 max marks
    • PHYSICS – 60 questions/ 240 max marks
    • CHEMISTRY – 60 questions/ 240 max marks
    • ENGLISH LANGUAGE & COMPREHENSION – 10 questions/ 40 max marks
    • LOGICAL & QUANTITATIVE REASONING – 10 questions/ 40 max marks
  • Correct answers are give four marks. There is no negative marking for JIPMER
