IIM rearranges examination date for entrance test

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) moved the date of the exam for integrated programme in management exam 2015 (IPMAT 2015). At first, the exam was scheduled for may 14, but now the exam date was revised to May 15.

IIM conducts IPMAT for the admission of candidates to its five-year integrated programme in management (IPM).

Paper pattern:

Total questions: 100

The question paper will be made up of two parts:

Quantitative ability: this section will have 60 per cent of the weightage-

Percentage

Profit Loss

Geometry

Data Interpretation

Simple Equations

Numbers

Averages

Mixtures and Alligations

Time and Distance

Time and Work

Verbal ability: 40 per cent weightage

Vocabulary

Grammar

Sentence correction

Usage of words

Marking Pattern:

For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks and for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.

Selection process:

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in IPMAT 2015. Selected candidates will have to appear in personal interview for getting selected for the job.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merits, the gate score and personal interview which will be conducted by DIAT.

Birla Institute of technology (BIT) Mesra invited applications for the admission of applicants to its master of computer applications (MCA) programs for the session 2015. Interested and suitable candidates should send their applications until April 17.

Master of computer applications (MCA)

Program duration: 3 years

Educational qualification:

Candidates who apply for the MCA program must have class 10 and class 12 exam with minimum of 60% (General) and 55% (SC/ST) from recognized state or Central Board. Candidates must have a bachelor of computer applications (BCA) or bachelor of science in computer science, information technology or electronics, mathematics or Economics as one of the subjects.

Selection procedure:

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the entrance examination to be conducted by the Institute.

Bharath University invites application for admission in engineering programs through Bharath University engineering entrance exam in 2015 academic year for the following courses.

The selection will be made based on the marks secured by the candidates in the all India common entrance examination. Intimation letter will be sent to pre-selected candidates for admission. In case of candidates securing the same marks in the entrance exams, the choice will be made based on their performance in the qualifying examinations.

BEEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant for BEEE 2015 must be an Indian national and (I) should have studied in schools located in India in the last 10 + 2 years for admission to the undergraduate program. (II) must have studied in educational institutions in India and has completed the qualifying exam.
