On Wednesday, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki informed that the state government has mailed the investigation report of a committee established to look into the paper leak of civil services exam to Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission for advance action.
Tuki told reporters that the state cabinet forwarded the report to the Commission and has previously ordered an investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the state police to search the individuals involved in the scandal. The aspirants have quashed the inquiry report and asked for President’s interference in this matter. The Chief Minister denied the state government’s role in the self-governing execution of the APPSC because it’s an autonomous body.
The leakage of General Studies question paper of the civil services (Mains) exam in September hit the new headlines as hundreds of aspirants staged dharna compelling APPSC to put off the exam till further discretion.
