Australia’s Acting High Commissioner Bernard Philip had started an online database to assist Indian students who find Australian university courses. The database wills also assist the Australian students that are in search of study opportunities in India. The database is a scheme of the Australia-India Education Council. It was financially supported by the Indian University Grants Commission (UGC) and put into force by Jamia Milia Islamia University (JMI).

Bernard Philip said that this website will be a tremendous source for Indian students looking for complete part of their degree in Australia and for Australian students desiring to learn in India.

He thanked UGC and JMI for their management in this proposal and asserted that students of both countries can search the database by location, institution or course. Students can access the database at ‘http://www.australiaindiacredittransfer.org/‘.
