Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is the national level examination organized and conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It aims to grant the teacher’s eligibility certificate to the qualified candidates so that they are eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes 1th to 8th in the unaided private schools, schools under the central government and those under the Administrative control of the union territories.

The exam is scheduled to be held on 20th September 2015 i.e. tomorrow. Candidates are requested to download their admit cards from the official website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in

No candidate is allowed to enter the examination hall and appear for the exam in the absence of admit card.

Steps to download the admit card:

  1. Candidate must need to log on the official website www.ctet.nic.in
  2. Click on the “Admit card” tab.
  3. Click on the link provided for Download the admit card
  4. Enter the details asked such as name, roll number etc.
  5. Submit the details.
  6. Admit card will be displayed on the screens.
  7. Download the admit card and get it print.

If candidate found any type of error in the admit card or in confirmation page, he should have to contact to CTET authorities immediately for the correction. Moreover, candidate must have to bring a photo Identity Proof along with them.

Exam pattern: The exam will be conducted in two parts i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper II will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12 pm and Paper I will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Final selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination. If a candidate meets the criteria of minimum qualifying marks, he/she would be selected and issued the eligibility certificate by the board. The candidates who will successfully qualify this exam would be appointed as primary level teachers for classes 1st -5th or junior level teachers for class 6th to 8th on the basis of their marks. This is one of the toughest exams of the country. Books are available online also. Candidate may check by entering CTET Exam Books Online.

Download Admit Card for IBPS Clerk 2015

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is the national level examination organized and conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It aims to grant the teacher’s eligibility certificate to the qualified candidates so that they are eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes 1th to 8th in the unaided private schools, schools under the central government and those under the Administrative control of the union territories.

Central Board of secondary education is going to conduct Central teacher eligibility test (CTET) on 20th September 2015 for which admit cards are available on 4th Sep 2015. Candidates who registered themselves can now download the admit card from the official website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in

Steps to download the admit card:

  1. Candidate must need to log on the official website www.ctet.nic.in
  2. Click on the “Admit card” tab.
  3. Click on the link provided for Download the admit card
  4. Enter the details asked such as name, roll number etc.
  5. Submit the details.
  6. Admit card will be displayed on the screens.
  7. Download the admit card and get it print.

Note: If any error or discrepancy found in admit card, candidate may immediately contact the CTET authorities for the correction.

CTET and tips to crack it

CTET 2015

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi conducts CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) for granting eligibility for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. The CTET September 2015 Exam would be held in offline mode on 20 September 2015 all over India. There are two types of eligibility criterion granted through the CTET examination – Primary level (Class I to V) and Elementary level (Class VI to VIII).

Eligibility:

Primary Level Teacher (Classes I-V)

  • Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 45% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (for reserved category candidates).
  • Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Special Education.
  • Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Graduate and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Elementary Stage (Class VI-VIII)

  • Graduate and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • Graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (for reserved category candidates).
  • Graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).
  • Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Pass in Senior Secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks. Passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Tips to prepare:

  • Know the syllabus: Thoroughly study the syllabus. Know about the topics included and start preparing your notes.
  • Focus on Topics: Divide your time according to the topics you need to prepare first. Topics like child development, child psychology,pedagogy and teaching methods are very important.
  • Refer to the past question papers: Always go through the last year question papers so that you have an idea about the kind of questions asked in the exam.
  • Refer to right preparation material: Refer to the Books ,notes and sample papers which give detailed information required for the exam.
  • Practice: Don’t rely on the last year question papers entirely. Always prepare thoroughly and practice as much as you can. This approach helps you to gain confidence in your preparations.
  • Mock tests: Mock tests always prove to be a helping hand in the practice process. Always practice mock tests so that you are able to know your weaknesses and prepare yourself accordingly.

Tips to follow in the examination hall:

  • Be confident: Be confident about yourself and what you have prepared while answering the question
  • Attempt the question in order: Don’t spend too much time on one question .If you find any question difficult leave it with a mark and get back to the same question after you attempt all the questions.
  • Time management CTET exam in total has 150 questions which you are suppose dto attempt in 2.5 hrs. It advisable that you manage your time accordingly and solve all the question before time so that you get time to revise your answers.
  • Do not overload yourself with information: This may lead to grasping too much of information which may result in confusion at the time of exam.
  • Do not panic: Do not panic, stay calm and take proper sleep night before your examination day.
  • Be punctual: Try to reach examination centre before time, so that you have enough time to relax and focus on the exam

Good news for prospective teachers is in line. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), just announced the recent schedule for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). According to the website of CTET, the exam will be held across the country on February 22, 2015 (Sunday).

Aspirants can apply for the online exam (Paper one and two) starting from December 18, 2014. The last date of online application is January 8, 2015 and last date of fee payment is January 10. Candidates belonging to the general classes will need to pay Rs 600 to appear any one of the exam. The total fees of both the exams have been reduced at Rs 1000.

Candidates of reserved category will pay Rs 300 and Rs 500 respectively and the application can be made online with online payment making use of the debit or credit card or through Challan of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.  Exams admit cards will be made available on CTET website ( www.ctet.nic.in ) on February 2, 2015.  According to CBSE website, CTET is an essential requirement for a person to be entitled for selection as a teacher in all of the schools.
