IOCL recruitment notification: 95 vacancies for engineering diploma holders announced, apply now

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has recently released a recruitment notification. As per the notification, IOCL has announced total 95 vacancies for the post of Technician Apprentice. The candidates who are interested and eligible may apply for the position at the official website i.e. www.iocl.com.

In order to apply for the post, interested candidates must have to meet the eligibility criteria which is set by the authority and is mandatory to meet.

Education qualification:

  • The candidates who wish to apply for the post must have pursued three years full time regular/sandwich diploma in relevant engineering.
  • The candidates with distance learning mode or part time mode or correspondence mode shall not be considered.

 

Age Criteria: The candidates who are interested and eligible must not exceed 24 years and must be minimum of 18 years of age.  Candidates from reserved category will get the relaxation as per the government norms.

RBI Notification: Score Card out for RBI Assistant Prelim Exam, Check now

RBI has recently released a notification regarding the RBI assistant prelims examination. As per the notification released, scores cards are out for RBI Assistant Prelims examination. The candidates who have appeared for the exam can now their scores on the official website of RBI i.e. www.rbi.org.in.

 

In order to check the result, candidate must have to follow the below mentioned steps to avoid any discrepancy.

 

  1. Log on to the official website i.e. www.rbi.org.in
  2. After that, click on the link ‘RBI Assistant Prelims Score Card’
  3. After clicking the link, enter the required details.
  4. Click on submit.
  5. Score card will be displayed on the screen.

Note: The candidate who have successfully cleared the prelims examination, can also download the admit card for the Mains examination. Admit card will be available on the website till January 24th.

BITSAT 2017 Notification: Registration Details And Exam Dates Out, Check Now

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) has released a notification regarding the registration details and exam dates. Students who are interested and eligible may check the detailed notification on the official website of BITS i.e. www.bitsadmission.com . The last date for enrolment is March 6th 2017.

As per the notification, exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 16th, 2017 to May 30th, 2017.

The candidates who are interested will have to meet the eligibility criteria which have been set by the authority. Following is the eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification:

First Degree programmes of BITS except B Pharmacy: Candidates must be having pass degree of class 12th from any recognised central or state board or equivalent with physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English.

BPharmacy: Candidates must be having pass degree of class 12th examination from any recognised central or state board or its equivalent with physics, chemistry and biology (PCB) and adequate proficiency in English. Candidates with PCM may also apply.

CBSE UGC NET 2017 Notification: Admit cards released, download now

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification regarding the Admit cards for UGC NET 2017 examination. As per the notification, CBSE has released admit cards for University Grant Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET). Candidates who have applied for the same may download their admit cards from the official website. Admit cards are released today only.

As per the notification released, exam is scheduled to be held on January 22, 2017.

In order to download the admit cards, candidates must have to follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Log on to the official website of CBSE UGC NET i.e. www.cbsenet.nic.in
  2. Click on the admit card download link.
  3. After that, candidate must have to enter the credentials such as registration ID and DOB.

About the examination:

  • Candidates who are seeking the post of Assistant manager or junior research fellowship, he/she must have to clear the exam successfully.
  • All the aspirants need to download their admit cards from the official website only.
  • Candidates who will score 55 per cent marks will be eligible for the NET, Candidates from reserved category will get some relaxation
  • Candidates who will qualify for JRF are eligible for assistant professor and research.

Candidates who had opted only for assistant professor are not eligible for research.

SSC CHSL 2016 Notification: Admit cards out for LDC DEO Examination, download now

A notification has been released regarding the SSC-CHSL 2016 examination. As per the notification, The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) 2016 on its official website i.e. www.sscnr.net.in . As per the notification, the examination is scheduled to held from January 7th to February 5, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL examination:

The candidates who are interested must have to meet the eligibility criterion which has been set the SSC officials.  Candidates who are applying must be having the Pass degree of Intermediate (Class 12) from any government recognised board or university.

AIIMS MBBS Exam 2017-18 Notification: Exam Dates released, check now

The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) has released a notification regarding the examination dates. As per the notification, Entrance Exam for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS-2017) is scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017. NEET UG 2017 Notification: Exam likely to be held on 7th May, check now

Notification has been released regarding the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test under Graduate (NEET UG) 2017 examination. As per the notification NEET under Graduate 2017 exam is likely to be held on 7th May, 2017. The exam will be held at various exam centres across the Nation.

It is eligibility cum entrance examination for various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956. This is the only entrance exam for PG Courses at all level such as state or institution level as per the Medical Council Act, 1956 w.e.f from 2017 admission session.

All you need to know about NEET:

  • As per the statement from Health Ministry, Exam will be conducted in six additional languages apart from conventional languages (Hindi and English). These additional six languages are Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, and Tamil from academic session 2017-18.
  • Along with this,, the candidate who will successfully qualify the examination will be eligible to an all India quota and other quotas under the state government/ institutes, irrespective of the medium in which the exam is taken by the candidate.

ICAI Notification: Exam Dates Out for ICAI Commerce Wizard 2016, Check Now

The institute of Charted Accountants of India (ICAI) has released a notification regarding the ICAI Commerce Wizard 2016. As per the notification, ICAI is all set to conduct the ICAI Commerce wizard 2016 examination. This is a talent search examination in commerce. The students from class 9th to 12th are eligible for the examination.

The exam will be held on January 8, 2017 at various schools throughout the world.

AWARD:

As per the notification, 1st rank holder will be awarded with INR 100000. The amount will be shared if multiple winners are announced for the same rank.

2nd rank holder will be awarded with INR 50000 and this amount would also be shared if multiple winners are announced for the same rank.

Registration Fees: Candidates will have to pay INR 100 as a registration fee. Late fee charges are INR 50. So candidate who will register themselves after the due date has passed will have to pay INR 150.

Examination pattern:

  • Exam will be held in two levels.
  • Candidates are allowed to take the level 1 examination online from home only.
  • The candidates who will successfully clear the level two examinations will be allowed to appear for the second level.

The level one will be of 75 minutes and level two will be of 90 minutes. Exam will be of 100 marks and there is a negative marking as well of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.

UP Police Recruitment Notification: Vacancies for 1478 posts of Fireman, apply now

Uttar Pradesh Police has released a notification regarding the recruitment for the posts of Fireman. There are total 1478 posts. AICTE CMAT Notification: Registration Date Extended

A notification regarding the AICTE CMAT examination has been released. According to the notification AICTE CMAT registration dates has been extended for the third time. The examination is scheduled to be held on January 28th and January 29th 2017.

Previously last date for registration was December 15. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the application submission procedure till December 25.

Education Qualification:

The candidate must be having graduate degree in any discipline from any recognised university or institute. Final year students are also allowed to register themselves.

  2. After that, Register as a ‘New User’
  3. Candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully.

It is mandatory for all the candidates to pay Rs 1400 as a registration fee. SC/ST/OBC candidates need to pay Rs 700/- as a registration fee.

Pattern for examination:

Exam will be held for three hours. The exam will be held in four sections i.e. Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. Paper will consist of 100 questions for 1 mark each. Negative marking will also be there for every wrong answer. One mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer.

Trail test facility is also available.  The test will be available from December 15th 2016. Candidates can take the trail test so that they can be familiar with the screen, layout and navigation.

Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has successfully conducted the Group C Non Technical Examination on December 18th 2016. Answer keys for the same has been issued on the official website KPSC i.e. http://kpsc.kar.nic.in/

NMAT 2016 Examination Notification: Registration Window for Rescheduling Exam Will Close Tomorrow

As per the notification, rescheduling of NMAT 2016 Examination will close on 17th December 2016 (Saturday) i.e. tomorrow. Candidates can reschedule their exam by tomorrow. All the interested candidates can reschedule their NMAT 2016 examination by paying rescheduling fee i.e. INR 1000 excluding taxes. Candidate need to pay INR 200 (excluding taxes) in order to receive additional copy of score card. Candidate can pay this fee by the organising medium via any medium such as Master card, American express card, Debit card, Net banking, Diners club and mobile wallets etc.

Advantage of Rescheduling window:-

This rescheduling window is the advantage for the NMAT candidates and provides flexibility to take the test when they are best prepared. Also by this, candidates can avoid the conflicts between their exam dates and social life. If candidate feels that they haven’t performed well in the examination or as per their expectations, then in that case, Candidate can retake the test maximum 3 attempts including “No show”.

Bihar Topper Scam: Board Will Conduct Compartment Exam and Evaluate Papers Digitally

After Bihar topper Scam, Bihar school examination Board (BSEB) decided to evaluate the compartment exam digitally along with this, answer sheets will also be evaluated digitally.

This would leave no scope of any kind of scam in evaluation of papers. After this decision of BSEB, approx 2.80 lakh copies have been evaluated digitally and results for the same is scheduled to be announced on December 19th 2016.

This scheme was also opted by Central Board of secondary education (CBSE) and some other state board in the past. Now Bihar School examination Board is also using this scheme.

What is Digital evaluation?

Under this system, Answer sheets are bar coded to avoid identification. After that, answer sheets are scanned using high speed scanners, and the soft copies reached the computerised evaluation centres. The hard copies were locked in the strong rooms. The board use specific pre and post exam software for tabulation and preparation of results and for facilitating the process.

After the Bihar topper scam, board had taken several measures to stop these types of manipulation. Digital evaluation by BSEB is one of the major step against these scams.

IIM Directors Deliberate To Strengthen Brand IIM

The fourth Pan-IIM World Management Conference which has started from December 13th at IIM-Ahmadabad. At the conference issues like strengthening the brand IIM. This would be done by improving education and research output. Along with this, many other issues were also discussed at the conference such as improving research quality, availability of faculty across IIMs, academia-industry interface, interaction with peers of other institutions for collective research, online delivery of knowledge and constructively contribute to other educational institutions and society.

It was also decided in the meeting that directors of institutes will meet twice in a year for better coordination and sharing among all the IITs in the country.

Views of Directors of IIM and highlights of Meeting:

  • In the meeting they have decided to meet up twice in a year to share their views on how to strengthen the brand IIM and for better coordination. Along with this, it was also discussed in the conference that they will fully fund the PAN IIM Conference, said IIM-A director Ashish Nanda.
  • For better collective research, they need to upgrade research through discussions with peers from other institutes. They will give new ideas and concepts which will also strengthen the brand IIM, said IIM-L Director Ajit Prasad.
  • They will organise Faculty development programme (FDP) by which they will raise the quality of faculty and help them in research. They will share their rich library resources to help other educational institutions Said IIM_Rohtak director Atanu Rakshit.
  • Along with this, it was also discussed in the meeting that how to activate academia-industry interface and remove the problem of faculty crunch across IIMs.
  • Education and research is the basic priority and to maintain the brand is the responsibility of IIM. Quality education is the biggest challenge for IIM to deal with, Said IIM-Kashipur director Gautam Sinha.
  • In order to produce more successful doctoral candidates, institute is offering more ways and means to collaborate with each other. One of the main inputs on faculty issue is offering fellow programmes in management, said IIM-Indore Director Rishikesha Krishnan.
  • IIM Kashipur is taking senior executives from industry for teaching to remove the problem, said IIM Kashipur director, Sinha.
  • To provide quality education, they have to manage themselves as well. This has to be done by maintaining the quality of education, connecting with industry, corporate, society etc, said IIM-Shillong director Amitabh De.

New Date Sheets to be Released Soon for UP Board Examination

Due to the elections, The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh have shifted their Exam dates as invigilators are allotted work in election duties as well as board exams.

As per the report, there are more than 60 lakh students are likely to appear for the exam throughout the state. Approx 34, 04,571 candidates have registered themselves for secondary school level examination i.e. for class 10th and approx 26, 24,681 candidates have registered themselves for inter college level examination i.e. for class 12th.

The new date sheet of UP board examination 2017 for class 10 examination (Secondary school level examination) and class 12 examination (inter college level examination) has been cancelled. Now exam will be rescheduled and new date sheet will be released soon. In this regard, the commission has directed the board and is taking advice from the chief Electorate Officer of the state.

As per the previous date sheet, class 10th examination will be scheduled from February 16th till March 6th and class 12th examinations were to be held from February 16th till March 20th 2017. Practical’s examination will start from December 22 and will get over by January 20th 2017.

All the candidates are suggested to stay tuned till the new date sheet will released.

Exam pattern & marking scheme: The exam will be of objective type which contains questions based on reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and computer knowledge. The exam will be of 200 marks and there will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.  Exam will be of 135 minutes and each section is allotted a separate time frame within which the questions need to be answered.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the E-Admit card for Engineering Services Prelims Examination 2017. The candidates who have registered themselves may download their admit card from the official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in.

Asked Centre to Maintain Autnomy of Nalanda University: Bihar CM

Intervention of the central government is influencing the autonomy of Nalanda University, said Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar in a letter to Sushma Swaraj.

In the letter he wrote that Vice Chancellor of Nalanda University, George Yeo, felt that as a result he resigned. According to the report vice chancellor’s resignation from the post citing the intervention of central government which is affecting the autonomy of Nalanda University.

As a result, Bihar CM, Mr Nitish Kumar, raised his voice and showed his objection over the way the vice chancellor’s George Yeo was not taken into the confidence on the decision to dissolve the previous governing board of the university. Chancellor showed his disappointment as the important decision was taken without consulting the chancellor and raised their questions about the autonomous nature of the university.

He also wrote in the letter that before taking any kind of major decision, centre should consult all stakeholders and distinguished academicians in order to avoid such grievances.

In the letter, Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar, who played a most important role in establishment of the university, expressed his views how the state government originally decided to revive the ancient glory of Nalanda University and conceptualised the establishment of the new University in Nalanda District of Bihar.

UPSC NDA & NA (II) Written Exam 2016: Results out, Check Now

Results for National Defence Academy ( NDA)  and Naval Academy ( NA) (II) written examination 2016 has been declared. Candidates can check their results online at official website i.e. www.upsc.gov.in

UPSC NDA & NA (II) written exam was successfully conducted on September 18. The exam was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the candidates to take the admission into army, navy and air force wings of NDA and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).

Demonetisation Affects SSC Exam Registration

Demonetisation of Old currency of 500 and 1000 affects filing process of SSC Examination. The form filing process is still going on. It starts from 4th November 2016 and will get over by 21st November. Due to this scrapping of old currency, the process of registration has become slow. Students and Parents are complaining for this to the authority. Moreover, students and parents are requesting the schools to accept the Old currency. However Schools haven’t got any notification or orders in this regard.

As per the authorities of local school, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHE) must have to take the matter in their hands to avoid the confusion and chaos at the school.

A senior school official said that they are accepting the old currency to avoid the unwanted confusion and chaos which were leading to inconvenience to students and parents. In this matter no formal decision has been made yet by the state board.

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education chairman, Gangadhar Mhamane said that no intervention from the state board was needed at present because of longer window available for the filling up forms. Moreover, he stated that students may fill the form and submit the examination fee later as the form filling process will end by 21st November.

VITEEE 2017 Notification: Registration Process starts, Apply Now

With Effect from Next Year, IIT Entrance Examinations to be Held in Nepal, Said Pranab Mukherjee

President Pranab Mukerjee on Thursday announced that Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will conduct their entrance examinations in Nepal from Next year.

Announcement was done in a seminar titled ‘Nepal and India: Exploring News Vistas’ organised by India Foundation and Neeti Anusandhan Prathishthan Nepal. In the seminar, president said, both the countries, India and Nepal have enjoyed a long tradition of academic and student exchange.

Along with this, President also stated that India is happy to help Nepal with its Human resource development. India grant around 3000 scholarships to Nepalese student every year. Along with this, India provides opportunities to study in Nepal and in India. India also offers more than 250 scholarships annually for Government and non Government employees of Nepal for training in technical institutes in India.

India basically focuses on importance of water resources in the accelerated development in Nepal, for which scholarships are also offered to the post graduate student of Nepal of Hydel power courses and water resources management. Scholarships are offered at IIT Roorkee.

This type of relation will help to solve major hurdles through meetings and consultations, goodwill, strong mutual understand and open-end conversations etc.

XAT- 2017 Notification out, Check Now

Xavier Aptitude test 2017 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017. The examination will conduct and organised by XLRI, Jamshedpur. This is one of the biggest national level entrance exams for management courses. The scores of XAT examination are accepted by around 140 B-Schools across the country.

Paper one covers three sections i.e. Quantitative Ability, English language and Logical Reasoning and Decision Making. Paper two is based on General Knowledge and Essay writing Questions. Total time to complete the exam is 210 minutes.

Punjab PSTET Notification: Results Will be out Soon

As per the latest notification, Results for Punjab state teachers eligibility test (PSTET) will be out soon. Results will be declared on the official website i.e. www.tetpunjab.com. The test was held on 25th September, 2016. Large numbers of candidate have appeared for the exam this year.

This is available in 11 languages and approx 50 countries around the world. The classroom mode offers educators the ability to interact with students and manage settings from a central user interface.

SSC CGL: Re- Examination for Tier 1 to be held on 27th October

The staff selection commission (SSC) has decided to conduct the Re-Examination for one shift i.e. second shift (Batch-II) of Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE), tier 1 on October 27th, 2016. The exam was scheduled on August 27th 2016 across the country. The candidates who have successfully cleared the exam will have to appear for Tier 2 exam which will schedule in the month of November. The Institute of banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released call letter for Regional Rural Banks (RRB). The candidates who are appearing for the exam are required to download the call letter from official website www.ipsc.in.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) released a notification regarding the Provisional Admit card for 2016 exam. Exam Date is not yet announced. Large numbers of candidates have applied for the exam. The written exam will be held for recruitment of desired candidates for the Clerk Post. Approx 4425 posts have been announced.

BSEB: De-Recognisation of 68 Inter-Colleges and 19 Schools

Bihar School Examination Board finally suspended the affiliation of 68 inter-colleges and 19 schools across the state.

The investigation was started after the Bihar topper’s scam in order to clean up the rot within the Bihar School. The decision was taken by Anand Kishore, The chairman of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). More action would also be taken, said Anand Kishore, Chairman, BSEB. This decision was taken because of failure to comply with their prescribed norms and criteria for running the institute.

Former chairman, Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh and his wife, Usha Singha, accused in this scam and are lodged inside the jail. Along with this, approx three dozen people including public servants have also been arrested because of the involvement in the Bihar topper Scam. Also, the Director of the dubious Bishun Rai College is also got arrested and ldged inside the jail. This is the college from where this scam started in May.

Bihar topper scam hit the international headline which was surfaced in May, 2016. Two toppers named Ruby Rai from Arts Stream and Saurabh Shrestha from Science stream found to be clueless about their subject and failed to answer the basic question based on their Subjects.

SSC CGL Notification: Re-Exam for one Shift is Scheduled on October 27

The staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a major notification for Re Examination for those candidates who appeared for batch II exam which was held from August 27th 2016 to September 1st 2016. The re examination will be held for batch II of SSC CGLE Tier-I exam and will start on October 22, 2016 (tentatively) as per notification released. The official notification is released on official website. Candidates are requested to check the official website i.e. www.ssc.nic.in for detailed notification.

The candidates who have successfully cleared the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam which was held from August 27th to September 1st will have to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.

Till today, The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has not declared the result for SSC CGL Tier 1 examination. It is also expected that the result for the same will be declared n November 8, 2016. The exam for SSC CGL Tier 2 will tentatively held from November 30th to December 2, 2016. Notification for the same is not yet released.

Staff selection commission (SSC) is considered as an authorized agency that recruits dynamic staff for various posts in various ministries and departments of the government of India and in subordinate offices. It offers job on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the screening rounds.

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis and Students’ Reaction

Institute of banking personnel Selection has conducted the preliminary examination for officers posts in Public banking. The exam was stared from October 16, 2016 and will get over by October 27th 2016. Many students have appeared for the exam.

Paper Analysis for October 2016 exam-

The IBPS Po Preliminary exam is having total three sections i.e. English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The paper is for 100 marks included 35 marks for Quantitative aptitude section, 30 Marks for English Language section and 35 for reasoning section. As per the student’s reviews, the paper was of moderate level. The exam is for one hour.

As per the experts and students, the level of this section was easy to moderate. Major topics were based on Number series, approximation i.e. calculation based, data interpretation and quadratic equations. Approx 18-20 question was from good attempt.

As per the reviews, this section was little tricky and bit difficult as compared to other two sections. Mostly asked question was from comprehensive part, close test, sentence error spotting and sentence rearrangement i.e. parajumbles.

CBSE CTET Released the OMR Sheet; Answer Key, Check on Official Website

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the OMR Sheet and Answer sheet for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for September 2016. All the candidates who have appeared for the exam are requested to check on the official website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in.

In order to check the answer key and OMR Sheet, candidates must have to follow the below mentioned procedure-

  1. Logon to the official website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in
  2. Click on the link- ‘Download OMR Sheet, Answer Key and Submission of Key Challenge for CTET Sept 2016.
  3. Enter the roll number and Date of birth.
  4. After submitting, the answer key will be displayed on the screen.

Candidates are requested to check the Answer key and OMR Sheet by October 19th 2016. After that no answer key will be available on website. Any candidate who is willing to challenge any answer which is given in the answer key published on the website, will have to submit their challenge online. There is a prescribed format for that. Candidates are requested to submit their challenges online in the prescribed format along with an authentic proof. This will be examined by the Board and result for the same will be declared in November 2016.

India on Second Position In High Quality Scientific Research

Among the top 100 highest performers throughout the world, Indian Institutions have managed to gain 2nd position in contribution to high-quality scientific research. Indian institutes include council for Scientific Research (CSIR), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Tata institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Technology IITs).

. According to the Nature Index 2016 Rising stars report, China ranked on first position in contribution to high-quality research outputs. According to this report, 40 of the top 100 performers are from China with 24 of those showing growth above 50 per cent since 2012.

There are nine institutes’ features from the UK, eight from Germany and five from India. Reports like this show the real picture of contribution and also proving that India is doing remarkable work and on the pace of progress.

As per the report, More than half (51%) of India scientific contributions to the Index in 2015 has made up by Chemistry, Physics made up to 36 per cent, life sciences made up to 9 per cent and four per cent by environment sciences.

SSC CHSL Notification: Exam to be Held in January, 2017

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has finally released a notification that the exam will conduct from January 7th to February 5th, 2017

The exam will conduct for over 5000 posts at various centres throughout the country. Interested candidates may check the notification on the official website ssc.nic.in.

Candidates can apply online by registering once and may apply for any exam which will be conducted by SSC.

In order to apply, candidates will have to follow the below mentioned procedure-

  1. Log on to the official website i.e. www.ssc.nic.in
  2. After login, candidate must have to create their Registration ID
  3. This registration ID is very important, candidate must have to note down the ID & password and keep it safely.
  4. After this, read the instruction thoroughly before selecting anything.
  5.  Fill the details
  6. After filling up all the details, click on the payment option. Candidates must have to pay INR 100 for each application form.
  7. Upload the clear digital picture and signature. Without\Blurred picture\signature will lead to rejection of application.
  8. After this, click on Submit.
  9. Candidates are also advised to take the print out of the application form for future reference.

Note: Closing date for registration is November 7th, 2016. Candidates are advised to get themselves register on and before 7th November.

NEET PG 2017 Exam Dates Released

The National Board of Examination has released exam dates of NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) post graduate exam.

Post graduate course examination will be conducted between December 5 and 13. As per the reports ,November 30 is the date for the test for dental courses.

As per supreme court’s directions, NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) is the single exam for both  eligibility and entrance for admission to postgraduate medical courses.

The examination will take place in 86 centres across 41 cities across the nation.

Paper pattern:

  • NEET-PG source of testing is computer-based test
  • The paper will comprise  of 240 multiple choice questions
  • The test will be conducted from MBBS curriculum followed at medical colleges in India

Important dates:

  • Detailed process of registration will be published on September 24 at 5 pm on nbe.edu.in 
  • September 26 is the date for online registration to begin.
  • October 31 is the last date to apply

IIM to Ensure Student’s Inclusive Growth with Diverse Programmes

IIM fraternity has decided to provide extra classes in subjects like statistic and accounting for the non-engineer students. This step is being taken to ensure inclusive growth for the students, coming from different educational background.
To ensure inclusive growth for the students, the institutes have decided to implement inclusive model of education .The autonomous nature of the IIM allows the premier institutes to induct various programmes.

The postgraduate programme in management covers a wide range of first courses from diverse functional areas. These areas cover sectors like communication, HR, economics, finance, operations, and statistics. In the second year, students are given option to take elective courses of their choice. Hence in inclusive curriculum , no student from any particular academic background has an advantage and all are encouraged to apply equally.

 

Objectives and Measures:

  • One of the prime reason to implement inclusive curriculum in the IIM programmes is the concern that candidates coming from diverse educational background should be provided with equal opportunity
  • Student from engineering background might find the quantitative papers easier. However, in the following semester or academic year, student from the commerce background would have an edge in Business paper. In this manner, every candidates will be able to enjoy equal advantages.
  • To encourage the students for inclusive growth, IIM Udaipur advised every students for online mathematics courses, soon after admission.
  • For those students coming from non-commerce background,  IIM fraternity provides extra classes in accounting and statistics on regular basis.
  • IIM Udaipur is putting extra effort like providing extra courses including quizzes for its students.
  • In their new initiative they encourage students to avail these courses for just Rs 5000.
  •  Students  who score 70 per cent in the course, are eligible to get 75 per cent refund of thier enrollment fee. Every student is encouraged to go through it. This way, it is ensured that students get to do some basic revision before they come into the classroom.

SNAP 2016: November 22 is the Last Date for Registration to Close

SNAP 2016 registration is on and November 22 is the last date to apply for the same. The last date to apply online is November 22.
The registration for SNAP 2016 is going on and the last date to apply for the same is November 22. As per the official notification, the exam is scheduled to take place on December 18. Only those who clear the SNAP test, will be able to appear for the GE-PIWAT process. GE-PIWAT process is conducted by each of the participating institutes.

Symbiosis University, Pune conducts entrance examination, by each year, for granting admissions into management courses such as MBA in various affiliated colleges and institutions.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

Interested candidates should have completed graduation from recognised/ university or institute with a minimum of 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ST). Programmes which require specific discipline/subject specialization need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective institute.

Those candidates who have completed qualifying degrees from any foreign university, must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

 

Exam  pattern:

  • The Time duration of the test will be 120 minutes.
  • The paper will consist of objective type questions and will be set for total 150 marks.
  • For every wrong answer, negative marking of 25 per cent will be awarded
  • The candidates’ knowledge in general English, reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, verbal ability, quantitative, data interpretation and data sufficiency, current affairs (of last two years), and analytical and logical reasoning shall be teated.

Important dates to remember:

The last date to apply online – November 22.

The last date to make the payment –  November 25.

Admit cards will be available for downloading- From December 2 to 18.

(SNAP 2016) will be conducted on –  December 18.

Result Notification: Declaration of SBI Clerk Main Exam 2016 is Under Process

The result of State Bank of India (SBI) Clerk mains examination has been continuously delayed. The exam was held on 25th and 26th June, 2016. The result for the same was earlier scheduled to be declared on August 31, 2016. But it is not yet declared and has been continuously delayed.

As per the recent notification by State Bank of India Central Recruitment & Promotion Department Corporate Centre, Mumbai, saying that the result of SBI Clerk JA & JAA Mains exam 2016, is under process and will be declared soon on finalization. The result will be declared on official website i.e. www.sbi.co.in .

The exam was held for the vacancies of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) and Junior Agricultural Associates for 14132 and 3008 posts respectively.

Procedure to check the result online-

In order to check the result, candidates must have to follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Log on to the official website : www.sbi.co.in
  2. Enter the registration number and date of Birth.
  3. After submitting, result will be displayed on the screen.
  4. Download the result and get it print for future reference.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in prelims, mains and interview. In order to get selected, candidates must have to clear all the three rounds.

Result Notification: RBI Declared results for Grade B Phase 1

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) declared the results for Grade B (General) Phase 1 examination. Results are declared on official website of RBI i.e. www.rbi.org.in.  The candidates who have successfully cleared the exam are shortlisted and eligible for Phase II exam. The exam was conducted successfully on September 4, 2016 across the country. The candidates who will clear the phase II exam successfully will be shortlisted for last round i.e. Interview round. RBI has opted for strict selection process. In order to get selected, candidates must have to clear all the rounds, i.e. Phase I, Phase II and Interview round.

In order to check the result, the candidate must have to follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Log on to official website i.e. www.rbi.org.in
  2. Click on the relevant link.
  3. Enter the registration number and date.
  4. Submit it.
  5. After submitting, results will be appeared on the screen.
  6. Download the result and get it print for future reference.

The candidate who are selected in phase I examination, will have to appear for Phase II examination. The exam will be conducted online on September 19, 2016 in two shifts. Candidates should appear in both the shifts.

Deteriorating attendance in MP: 4.7 lakh students are outside the schools

According to a recent analysis conducted by UNICEF, Madhya Pradesh is one decline in admission of about 4.7 lakh students in 2013-14 in primary and senior classes in primary classes compared to 2012-2013. This analysis includes 1,42,844 schools in the state comprising 1,14,444 government schools also.

The highest decline has been witnessed in in Gwalior where 40,000 students are now out of schools, followed by Chambal with a difference of more than 52,000 primary students and Jabalpur with a decline of 18,229.
In contrast, Indore witnessed a healthy change in primary education from 15,365. Tribal dominated Jahbua district tops in upper primary education with 8,747 students.

The national average transition rate from primary to upper middle class is 92%. Madhya Pradesh has a dull status, only 82% of students making for class 9. The decline of students poses another difficulty – lack of teachers. The number of schools with only one teacher is quite high. Disturbingly, there are 4,662 public schools have no teachers at all. Singrauli district has 357 schools without teachers.

WBJEE-2015: Admit cards are accessible Now

Admit card for WBJEE-2015 has been published by the WBJEE Board. Admit cards are available on the official website of the WBJEE board and For downloading the admit card, candidates will need to enter the Application Number, Date of Birth & Security Pin. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) will take place on May 5th and 6th, 2015. Admit card is the document which will permit the candidates to enter the exam hall. Candidates will have to go after the below mentioned steps to download the admit card:

→ At First, the candidates must open the official website of WBJEE Board and then click on the link download admit card.

→ After clicking the link, candidates will be directed to download portal.

→On download portal, candidates will have to submit the application number, date of birth and PIN code security. If all details are mentioned clearly, WBJEE-2015 hall ticket will be displayed instantly.

→ Applicants should be aware that the date of birth should be same as in official documents. Security pin captcha code that will appear on the login page on the system. The application number must be same as selected. If candidates do not remember, then they need to recheck it out of the confirmation page.

→ Once the admit card is loaded, the candidates should preserve the hall ticket properly. Corrupted or invalid hall ticket will not be accepted. Even after examination, should be stored in a safe place because it will be required during counselling and admission.
