HRD minister Smriti Irani set up the base of seven government schools in Delhi. The school buildings will be made with projected cost of Rs 110 crore by the Public Works Department in two years as per an estimate of the Delhi Education Department.
While speaking at the function, Irani highlighted the need of developing the the educational infrastructure in Delhi so as to growing the number of students gets enrolled. Two schools belong to West District, four South West district and one to South East district as informed by the minister.
While speaking at the function at the new Senior Secondary School Building in Dwarka Sector-13, Irani said that the upcoming students from these schools will make their name in educational field and will enrich the society as well. West Delhi BJP MP Pravesh Verma, who was present at the occasion, said that the move will be helpful towards the expansion of enlightening infrastructure in Dwarka area.
