Apply online for VIT Admission 2016

For the academic session 2016, the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University has invited the applications from those eligible candidates who are interested to take admission in Master of Technology (M.Tech.) programme by research offered at Chennai campus. The candidates, who are eligible to take admission and interested in taking admission in the programme, can apply through the official website on or before December 4.

The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University, which is formerly known as Vellore Engineering College, was established in 1984. This reputed institution offers 20 Undergraduate (UG), 34 Postgraduate (PG), 4 Integrated and 4 Research programmes.


The interested candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Master’s degree in Science/Computer Applications (with Physics & Mathematics in Bachelor’s).

The interested candidate must have scored at-least 60 percentage marks in Bachelor’s.

Selection Procedure

The candidates willing to take admission in the programme will be selected on the basis of the previous academic performance and the result attained in the test and interview.

Application Fees

The candidates are subjected to pay an application fee of Rs. 950/- for the registration process. The candidates can make the payment through net-banking/credit/debit card /demand draft.

Last date of application is December 4 and the date of written test and interview is December 12.

Defence Institute of advanced technology (DIAT) has invited applications for admission of students to its master of technology programme for 2015-2016 session. Interested and suitable candidates should send their applications until April 30.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

The candidates seeking admission to the aforementioned programme should have scored a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying examination. In addition, candidates must have a valid gate score to be eligible for admission.

Age limit:

Maximum 26 years

Selection procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merits, the gate score and personal interview which will be conducted by DIAT.

The candidates must apply online and Register on the official website of the DIAT, which is: www.diatonline.co.in . Candidates must then print them and send the application on a paper form through proper channel.
