NET 2019 December notification

National Testing Agency [NTA] released the notification for NET December session. This examination is for determining the eligibility of the Indian nationals for the eligibility for Assistant Professor or a Junior Research Fellowship and for both Assistant Professor eligibility in all Indian Universities and colleges.

The notification released by NTA invites the eligible and interested candidates for an online application. Here are the most important dates for NET 2019 December notification.

Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Parishad Recruitment Notification: Vacancies for 4000 Assistant Teacher (Urdu) Announced, Apply now

The Uttar Pradesh Basic education Parishad has released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Teacher (Urdu) for Primary Schools. As per the notification, there are total 4000 vacant posts. Candidates who are interested and eligible may apply before January 10th 2017.

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has recently released a recruitment notification. As per the notification, there are total 872 vacancies for the positions of Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector and Head Constable.

Recruitment Notification: Andhra Pradesh PSC announced approx 1000 vacancies, apply now

The Andhra Pradesh PSC (APSPSC) has recently released a recruitment notification. As per the notification, APSPSC has released vacancies for over 1000 posts for Panchayat Secretary (Grade- IV) in A.P. Panchayat Raj Subordinate Service Post. Last date to apply for the post is 30th January 2017. As per the notification, there is an eligibility criteria which every interested candidates must have to meet. BITSAT 2017 Notification: Registration Details And Exam Dates Out, Check Now

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) has released a notification regarding the registration details and exam dates. Students who are interested and eligible may check the detailed notification on the official website of BITS i.e. www.bitsadmission.com . The last date for enrolment is March 6th 2017.

As per the notification, exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 16th, 2017 to May 30th, 2017.

The candidates who are interested will have to meet the eligibility criteria which have been set by the authority. Following is the eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification:

First Degree programmes of BITS except B Pharmacy: Candidates must be having pass degree of class 12th from any recognised central or state board or equivalent with physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English.

BPharmacy: Candidates must be having pass degree of class 12th examination from any recognised central or state board or its equivalent with physics, chemistry and biology (PCB) and adequate proficiency in English. Candidates with PCM may also apply.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance. Merit list will be announced for the candidates on the basis of scores obtained in the examination of BITSAT -2017.

Paper pattern: Exam will be of three hours. Paper will be divided into four sections such as physics, chemistry, English and proficiency, mathematics and biology.

Indian Institute of Art & Design: Admission Open, Apply now

Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD), New Delhi has released a notification regarding the admission to Bachelor of Arts (BA Honours). As per the notification, interested and eligible candidate may apply for the admission for the Bachelor of Arts in Fashion design, Interior Architecture & Design and Communication Design programmes for the academic session 2017.

IIIT Allahabad Notification for MBA and MBA +PhD program, Admission starts, apply now

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabdad has released a notification regarding the MBA and MBA + PhD programme. As per the notification released, institute invites application for admission to 2 years full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) and 4 years dual degree i.e. full time MBA + Doctor f Philosophy (MBA+PhD) Programmes for the year 2017. SSC CHSL 2016 Notification: Admit cards out for LDC DEO Examination, download now

A notification has been released regarding the SSC-CHSL 2016 examination. As per the notification, The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) 2016 on its official website i.e. www.sscnr.net.in . As per the notification, the examination is scheduled to held from January 7th to February 5, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL examination:

The candidates who are interested must have to meet the eligibility criterion which has been set the SSC officials.  Candidates who are applying must be having the Pass degree of Intermediate (Class 12) from any government recognised board or university.

The candidates who are called for typing test/skill test will have to show the original certificate as a proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before January 1, 2017. Certificates such as Mark sheet, provisional certificate etc.

AIIMS MBBS Exam 2017-18 Notification: Exam Dates released, check now

The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) has released a notification regarding the examination dates. As per the notification, Entrance Exam for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS-2017) is scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017. Notification is released on the official website i.e. https://www.aiimsexams.org

As per the notification, results for the same will be out on June 14th 2017 (Wednesday)

Education Qualification for the candidates who are interested and applying for the examination:

All the candidates who are interested and applying for the Entrance examination for MBBS 2017 must be having the passed degree of Intermediate i.e. class 12th from any government recognised board or university. The minimum passing percentage is 60 per cent in aggregate. The candidate who belongs to the reserve category will get the relaxation of 10 per cent.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination.

ICAI Notification: Exam Dates Out for ICAI Commerce Wizard 2016, Check Now

The institute of Charted Accountants of India (ICAI) has released a notification regarding the ICAI Commerce Wizard 2016. As per the notification, ICAI is all set to conduct the ICAI Commerce wizard 2016 examination. This is a talent search examination in commerce. The students from class 9th to 12th are eligible for the examination.

The exam will be held on January 8, 2017 at various schools throughout the world.

AWARD:

As per the notification, 1st rank holder will be awarded with INR 100000. The amount will be shared if multiple winners are announced for the same rank.

2nd rank holder will be awarded with INR 50000 and this amount would also be shared if multiple winners are announced for the same rank.

Registration Fees: Candidates will have to pay INR 100 as a registration fee. Late fee charges are INR 50. So candidate who will register themselves after the due date has passed will have to pay INR 150.

Examination pattern:

  • Exam will be held in two levels.
  • Candidates are allowed to take the level 1 examination online from home only.
  • The candidates who will successfully clear the level two examinations will be allowed to appear for the second level.

The level one will be of 75 minutes and level two will be of 90 minutes. Exam will be of 100 marks and there is a negative marking as well of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.

UP Police Recruitment Notification: Vacancies for 1478 posts of Fireman, apply now

Uttar Pradesh Police has released a notification regarding the recruitment for the posts of Fireman. There are total 1478 posts. AICTE CMAT Notification: Registration Date Extended

A notification regarding the AICTE CMAT examination has been released. According to the notification AICTE CMAT registration dates has been extended for the third time. The examination is scheduled to be held on January 28th and January 29th 2017.

Previously last date for registration was December 15. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the application submission procedure till December 25.

Officials have set some eligibility criteria for every candidate which is mandatory to meet. Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

Education Qualification:

The candidate must be having graduate degree in any discipline from any recognised university or institute. Final year students are also allowed to register themselves.

In order to register themselves, candidate must have to follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Log on to the official website i.e. www.aicte-cmat.in
  2. After that, Register as a ‘New User’
  3. Candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully.
  4. Fill in all the details in a prescribed format.
  5. After that click on submit.
  6. All the candidates are advised to download it and get it print for future reference.

Application Fee:

It is mandatory for all the candidates to pay Rs 1400 as a registration fee. SC/ST/OBC candidates need to pay Rs 700/- as a registration fee.

Pattern for examination:

Exam will be held for three hours. The exam will be held in four sections i.e. Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. Paper will consist of 100 questions for 1 mark each. Negative marking will also be there for every wrong answer. One mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer.

Trail test facility is also available.  The test will be available from December 15th 2016. Candidates can take the trail test so that they can be familiar with the screen, layout and navigation.

Return of class 10 Board Examination in 2018: CBSE

Finally, Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE) has approved the long awaited proposal of restoring the class 10the board exams. On Tuesday, CBSE highest governing body unanimously approved a proposal of class 10th board examination. As per the report, class 10th board examination will return 2018. These exams are returning approx after the gap of seven years.

It is also announced during the meeting that the 80 per cent of weightage will be given to the marks scored in the examination and 20 per cent will be given to the school based evaluation.  Along with this, it is also decided in the meeting that the three language formulae will be extended to classes 9th and 10th. The languages which are listed in Schedule VIII of the Constitution should be taught under three language formulae. Foreign languages will be considered as fourth language as an elective subject.

Highlights of meeting:

  • Meeting was held on Tuesday, 20th December 2016. In the meeting Governing body with its member approved that wef 2017-18, compulsory board exams should be introduced for all students of class 10th.
  • Decision is still pending for approval by the government.

At present, it is optional for students to choose either from board exam or school based examination in all the affiliated schools.

Recently Bank of Baroda released a notification regarding the vacancies for the post of peon for Delhi Zone. The candidates who are interested and eligible may apply for the post on the official website of Bank Of Baroda i.e. www.bankofbaroda.co.in

Answer Keys Released for KPSC Group Non-Technical Exam 2016, check now.

Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has successfully conducted the Group C Non Technical Examination on December 18th 2016. Answer keys for the same has been issued on the official website KPSC i.e. http://kpsc.kar.nic.in/

The exam was organised to fill up the 1353 post of Group C staff non technical post. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check Answer keys and check the status.

In order to check the answer keys, candidate must have to follow the below mentioned steps:

  2. After that, click on ‘Key Answer’ tab on the top Navigation bar of the page.

  4. Click on Subject Code 133 to see the Answer keys for Paper 1 (General Studies)
  5. Click on Subject Code 134 to see answer keys for Paper 2 (Communication)
  6. The question paper with the answer keys will be displayed on the screen.
  7. Check it thoroughly. Download it and get it print for the future reference.

Note: Candidates can challenge the answer keys and send their representations against the answer keys to the commission’s office by December 25th 2016.

NMAT 2016 Examination Notification: Registration Window for Rescheduling Exam Will Close Tomorrow

As per the notification, rescheduling of NMAT 2016 Examination will close on 17th December 2016 (Saturday) i.e. tomorrow. Candidates can reschedule their exam by tomorrow. All the interested candidates can reschedule their NMAT 2016 examination by paying rescheduling fee i.e. INR 1000 excluding taxes. Candidate need to pay INR 200 (excluding taxes) in order to receive additional copy of score card. Candidate can pay this fee by the organising medium via any medium such as Master card, American express card, Debit card, Net banking, Diners club and mobile wallets etc.

Advantage of Rescheduling window:-

This rescheduling window is the advantage for the NMAT candidates and provides flexibility to take the test when they are best prepared. Also by this, candidates can avoid the conflicts between their exam dates and social life. If candidate feels that they haven’t performed well in the examination or as per their expectations, then in that case, Candidate can retake the test maximum 3 attempts including “No show”.

Bihar Topper Scam: Board Will Conduct Compartment Exam and Evaluate Papers Digitally

After Bihar topper Scam, Bihar school examination Board (BSEB) decided to evaluate the compartment exam digitally along with this, answer sheets will also be evaluated digitally.

This would leave no scope of any kind of scam in evaluation of papers. After this decision of BSEB, approx 2.80 lakh copies have been evaluated digitally and results for the same is scheduled to be announced on December 19th 2016.

This scheme was also opted by Central Board of secondary education (CBSE) and some other state board in the past. Now Bihar School examination Board is also using this scheme.

What is Digital evaluation?

Under this system, Answer sheets are bar coded to avoid identification. After that, answer sheets are scanned using high speed scanners, and the soft copies reached the computerised evaluation centres. The hard copies were locked in the strong rooms. The board use specific pre and post exam software for tabulation and preparation of results and for facilitating the process.

After the Bihar topper scam, board had taken several measures to stop these types of manipulation. Digital evaluation by BSEB is one of the major step against these scams.

The fourth Pan-IIM World Management Conference which has started from December 13th at IIM-Ahmadabad. At the conference issues like strengthening the brand IIM. This would be done by improving education and research output. Along with this, many other issues were also discussed at the conference such as improving research quality, availability of faculty across IIMs, academia-industry interface, interaction with peers of other institutions for collective research, online delivery of knowledge and constructively contribute to other educational institutions and society.

It was also decided in the meeting that directors of institutes will meet twice in a year for better coordination and sharing among all the IITs in the country.

Views of Directors of IIM and highlights of Meeting:

  • In the meeting they have decided to meet up twice in a year to share their views on how to strengthen the brand IIM and for better coordination. Along with this, it was also discussed in the conference that they will fully fund the PAN IIM Conference, said IIM-A director Ashish Nanda.
  • For better collective research, they need to upgrade research through discussions with peers from other institutes. They will give new ideas and concepts which will also strengthen the brand IIM, said IIM-L Director Ajit Prasad.
  • They will organise Faculty development programme (FDP) by which they will raise the quality of faculty and help them in research. They will share their rich library resources to help other educational institutions Said IIM_Rohtak director Atanu Rakshit.
  • Along with this, it was also discussed in the meeting that how to activate academia-industry interface and remove the problem of faculty crunch across IIMs.
  • Education and research is the basic priority and to maintain the brand is the responsibility of IIM. Quality education is the biggest challenge for IIM to deal with, Said IIM-Kashipur director Gautam Sinha.
  • In order to produce more successful doctoral candidates, institute is offering more ways and means to collaborate with each other. One of the main inputs on faculty issue is offering fellow programmes in management, said IIM-Indore Director Rishikesha Krishnan.
  • IIM Kashipur is taking senior executives from industry for teaching to remove the problem, said IIM Kashipur director, Sinha.
  • To provide quality education, they have to manage themselves as well. This has to be done by maintaining the quality of education, connecting with industry, corporate, society etc, said IIM-Shillong director Amitabh De.

Moreover, IIM-A and IIM-C have also opened with interaction with top institutes in their respective area which they call “A league” institutes. Said, Nanda.

IIT Dhanbad Admission Notification: Apply before 31st December, 2016.

The Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad has released a notification regarding the admission to full-time and part-time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme under various disciplines of Engineering, Science, Management, Humanities and Social Science for the year 2017. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on and before December 31st 2016 through the official website.

Selection criteria: The candidates who are applying will be selected on the basis of GATE score card, NET rank, IIT (ISM) JRF Entrance Examination (JRFEE) and BTech from IITs in respective discipline.

Application are accepted only on the official website of IIT, Dhanbad i.e. www.ismdhanbad.ac.in

Application fee:

In order to apply, candidate must have to pay the application fee. For general candidates registartion fee is INR 2000 and for SC/ST candidates it is INR 1000.

Dates to remember:

  • Last date of submission of application from is December 31, 2016.
  • Candidates may download the admit card from January 6th 2017.
  •  IIT (ISM) JRF Entrance Examination will be held on January 15th 2017.
  • Interview will be held on February 18th 2017.

Education eligibility criteria:

PhD in Chemical Engineering programme:  Candidate who are applying for the PhD in Chemical Engineering programme must have the Master’s degree i.e.  MTech from any recognised university.

PhD in Humanities and Social Sciences programme: For this programme, candidate must be having Master’s degree in Philosophy or Arts or Commerce or Business Administration or any equivalent degree.

PhD in Management Studies Programme:  For this programme, candidate must be having post graduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Management/Industrial Engineering/Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Civil Engineering or any equivalent degree.
