The final results of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy examination were declared on June 3 by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This result is based on the overall performance of the candidates in the written examination, interviews and Services Selection Board (SSB) conducted by the Ministry of Defence for the admissions to the Indian Army, Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force.
This selection however, is provisional and the candidates’ marks will be published on the UPSC website 15 days post the final results declared, that is, June 18. The results as well as other important information in concern with the commencement of the courses can be accessed through the official website. The website for Ministry of Defence is www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and indianarmy.gov.in. UPSC has published a list of 453 candidates on its website for the candidates who appeared for the written examination on September 29, 2014.
UPSC has also notified the candidates that if required, they must contact the Army Headquarters directly, if there is any change in the address.
