About JEE Advanced Exam

JEE Advanced Exam is carried out in two phases. Two papers are conducted, each for a 3-hour duration, summing up to a total of 6 hours. JEE Advanced is conducted once a year, in Hindi and English language. As for the repetition, only 2 attempts are allowed in two consecutive years by a candidate appearing for the JEE Advanced exam. The qualifying candidates become eligible for admissions in a variety of courses from the above mentioned institutions. The JEE Advanced exam is carried out in online or computer-based mode. It includes two compulsory papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each of the papers has three sections belonging to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics respectively. The questions in these sections are a mix of multiple-choice questions, double answer questions and numerical value questions.
