Air Force Common Entrance Test

AFCAT is the most important test conducted by the Indian Air Force itself. This test is conducted to acquire the class 1 gazetted officers in flying and ground duties for non-technical as well as technical activities. AFCAT is considered to be one of the most coveted exams, so it sees a large number of applicants. The exam takes place twice a year in the months of February and August. The qualifications for this exam is that a candidate should have scored a percentage of 60% in maths and physics each in 12th class. graduation degree is also required, irrespective of any field from a recognised university. The duration of the test is 2 hours and the question paper consists of 100 questions of 3 marks each, with total of 300. The AFCAT paper comprises four sections with objective types questions in English. The subjects of the exam are General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English,Reasoning and Military Aptitude test and Numerical Ability.
